I have had the privilege of receiving a special mention at the International Color Awards, in the category of Professional Portrait. The photograph has been nominated for a photographic portrait of Nora Cismaru done in my photo studio Santa Eulalia, on the island of Ibiza. One more year I have had the privilege of being part of the jury of the VI National Photography Prize PIEDAD ISLA 2015 awarded by the Provincial Council of Palencia and that this time has gone to the photographer and editor of the newspaper El Pais, MARISA FLÓREZ, for its magnificent photographic work remain key, especially during the transition to democracy in Spain.

La Exposición y Premios "PATRIMONI" de Fotografía, que organizo entre mis alumnos de los Cursos de Fotografía que imparto en el CEPA PITIÜSES de Ibiza, nos han permitido disfrutar una vez más de una magnífica colección de fotografías sobre el Patrimonio Cultural de Ibiza. La 38 imágenes en color o blanco y negro estarán expuestas en el Claustro del Ayuntamiento de Ibiza hasta el día 16 de Abril. Los participantes en la Exposición atesoran una calidad creativa sólo comparable con su calidad humana. Ha sido un privilegio para mi compartir con ellos todos estos meses de clases fotográficas y experiéncias personales y construir junto a ellos esta Exposción que espero sea del gusto de sus visitantes y ayude a fomentar el respeto y aprecio por nuestro patrimonio cultural.

En los Premios PATRIMONI 2014, paralelos a la Exposición, la magnífica fotografía de José Manuel Muñoz Serra ha ganado el 1º Premio del Concurso. El segundo premio ha sido para Alba de Felipe Konecna y el 3º Premio lo ha recibido José Roig Riera. ¡Enhorabuena!  En el Jurado de lujo, este año hemos podido contar con los fotógrafos profesionales Nerea Goikoetxea (Madrid) Alberto Rodrigañez Pedroche (Ibiza), Alberto G. Puras (Sevilla), y con los patrocinadores ADEA FOTOGRAFÍA, FOTO ESTUDIO RITU Y FOTOPRIX, así como la colaboración del Ayuntamiendo de Ibiza. Studio Ibiza Photographers. I have had the privilege and satisfaction of getting a nomination in the prestigious international photography awards Black & Witte Spider Awards. The nomination was in the category of Portrait Professional.

For a professional photographer, being recognized with an award, but never ceases to be an anecdote not without fortune, is a satisfaction that indicates that you're doing something right, and especially encourages you to continue to improve. This time the nominated photograph is a sequence of photographic portraits made ​​in my studio in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza, for my personal project "Piel Adentro" I've had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Club Diario de Ibiza, although this particular photograph I exposed in color in the Hall of Ibiza Sa Nostra in the project between visual artists and writers entitled "1x1 La Mirada Escrita" of the Obra Social Sa ​​Nostra.
